This piece is recently back from a tour with the "Quilt National" exhibit. That is a biennial juried show with hundreds of entries and less than fifty chosen pieces. The pieces are chosen based on merit both design and technique. I took the photo that is underlying this composition, during the wonderous ginkgo leaf explosion on 3rd Street NE. The bricks on the street were added and stitched, and the tree itself was expanded with fabric "confetti" and hand stitching.
This artwork has a sleeve and hanging rod to attach to the wall, and shipping is included.
