Each day I walk to and from my studio. As I do, I often snap photos of the streets and sidewalks. They tell stories of those who were there before me, or reflect the uniqueness of Charlottesville, VA. This is a composition using four of those photos, as well as a "lucky penny" found on the sidewalk. The photos are merged and printed onto fabric. That fabric becomes the basis for additional fabrics to be added above and additonal batting materials to be added below the surface. These combine to create new patterns, colors and textures as well as solidifying the composition.
This artwork comes with a sleeve and hanging rod to attach to the wall, and shipping is included.
