Drawing and Painting

COSTCO Hot Dogs!

4/8/2026

I haven't been drawing as much as a should lately.   But recently, I found myself at one of my favorite sketching spots.... COSTCO food court! I got my $1.50 hot dog and drink, and proceeded to  a table to people watch. I didn't have my sketchbook with me, but did have my omni-present phone! It has a stylus and is very unubtrusive. (I think people think I am either gaming or writing a shopping list!!) .

Here are some quick sketches of my fellow lunch buddies!

    Drawing

Drawing is a release, a lesson, and an exercise for both the eye and  the hand. I try to do as much as I can. I love drawing people. I like the wide variety of shapes and sizes of one particular subject. I like how it involves my observation as well as my hand..
