Day 11 Had most of the day off between yesterday's end of the workshops and tonight's beginning of the Surface Design Association Conference. So it was back to the Greenbriar section of the park. This time it was with sunshine and my friend, Lotta, as company!
We had a couple of lovely walks in the woods, and a picnic breakfast and lunch! The weather was perfect, and this lovely animal walked right past us, feeding as he/she went past. Didn't seem to care we were there.
The beauty was again almost overwhelming. The mosses deeper and greener with all the rain, the birds out, the streams running and passing hikers smiling.
I also got my first cloth back from Spoonflower yesterday. They printed two of my photos on fabrics, and they are outstanding in the quality. They have a new fabric that is treated for better color and it lived up to the hype. The folks at Spoonflower have been so gracious in helping me turn around fabric so I will have it to work on in the park. So starting Sunday it is full force on the park pieces.
This morning when I got ready to leave to pick up Lotta, the moon and Venus (?) were so bright in the vivid blue of the morning light. It was the perfect natural example of the Idigo dyeing that I have been doing the last few days just look at this:
Below are a few more pics of the park for you to enjoy... take a walk with me!
