The Walk in the Park Series Influenced by my Art Residency in The Great Smoky Mountains National Park
In October of 2015, I was honored to reside within the Great Smoky Mountains National Park as the artist in residence. While there, I took about 2000 photographs, and from those photos I have created a body of art quilts that reflect the nature and beauty of the park, as well as my vision of how fiber art reflects this beauty.
